We at Haleakala Bike Company/Bike Maui/Haleakala EcoTours are devasted by the recent Maui fires and the loss of businesses, homes, and lives.  Our own Maui Adventure Cruises was lost in the fire, but that doesn’t compare to the livelihoods that have been destroyed as a result.

MAUI IS OPEN

More livelihoods are at stake as tourism continues to be wrongly discouraged to the Island.  We love, support, and respect our West Maui ohana, and do discourage for the time being visiting the devastated area.  However, Kihei, Wailea, Upcountry, and Central Maui are still open.  Please support those families by visiting Maui, respecting the situation, but still supporting the locals and the jobs of those in the unaffected areas.   Lahaina is closed, but the rest Maui is Open and needs your help/business.  Lahaina Strong, Maui Strong.  Mahalo!
